Port placement

Dirt and debris can be problematic, but it is an issue that has been thought through. It can be rectified with a simple mesh grill, which fits in the flared opening of the port. The design is non-restricting and can be added or removed as desired.

I just like to point out the reason why other manufacturers place open ports on any surface of the speaker cabinet, even the bottom cleared by feet, and place only place passive radiators and not open ports on top of the speaker cabinets: To prevent all sorts of things from falling into the speaker cabinet interior! What happens to any open vases or glasses those are left out in the open for a long time? Pretty soon they are all filled with debris and dirt, and that is why we have lids for these open top devices! - cwnyc
